The Monmouth Museum houses a variety of artifacts pertaining to local and regional Maine history. It maintains eight buildings, which together offer a glimpse into rural life in nineteenth century Maine. This buildings host a series of recreated exhibits with artifacts and memorabilia dating from and representative of this period.
The museum is open to the public seasonally, over the summer months. There are also genealogy resources available year-round through the museum.
